Since its inception, ADL Israel has been actively involved in combating hate and discrimination while promoting social cohesion in Israel. Given the increasing social polarization in Israel, marked by instances of extremism in the public domain, media and social channels, ADL Israel provides education programs to promote understanding of the diverse facets of Israeli society. We believe that educational intervention is key to reducing hate and discrimination while bolstering the resilience of Israeli society. Our programs, delivered by ADL facilitators and adapted to suit different audiences, feature training, workshops and experiential activities that reduce stereotypes and prejudices while promoting engagement with the "other." In the aftermath of October 7, 2023, these efforts are more crucial than ever to heal divisions, foster mutual understanding and build a resilient society as we serve as a prominent public advocate on these topics and lead and join coalitions to counter hate and strengthen Israel's social fabric.
